Any questions?

Alright!

Now with less than one week to go, we figure there'll be more people checking in to remember details or even for the first time, so this here post is simply for you to ask any questions you may have and we can answer for you.

But don't forget we have the big summary post directly below this one with pretty much everything we could think of, so hopefully you should be able to find the info you need there. If not, ask away!

Also if you're the type to worry about wearing the same colour as someone else, Jules is wearing navy blue (and I'm in red).

Accommodation - Information can be found at this post - (Click here)

Gift Registry - www.thankyou.com.au/
Info of how to access it here - (Click here)

Saturday Night - TBC - after the reception we will probably be heading to some pub located near Ayres House for a drink and a sit down.

Sunday - On the Sunday we shall be having a BBQ - most likely at Jules' parents' house - to relax and hang out with everyone (especially interstate/overseas people who we don't get to see very often). So keep your Sunday lunchtime free and afternoon, if you can.

See you all there!

Let the poking and prodding commence!

Here's a final reminder to RSVP before we start bugging you for it! You have been warned!

Monday 9 March 2009

RSVP Reminder

Just a quick reminder for y'all that RSVPs are due back in just over one week!

So if you can get onto that soon, we'd really appreciate it. Otherwise, we have to start poking and prodding you, which, while fun, just takes forever.

You can still send back your postal RSVPs, or you can simply email us, SMS us, or even reply to this here post - your options are endless and (hopefully) painless.

We hope to hear from you soon,

- Jules and Immy

Gift Registry - Now Here!!!

Here is the Gift Registry!

http://www.thankyou.com.au/

Instructions:
1. Go to FIND A REGISTRY in the bottom centre of the home page
2. Select 'WEDDING' for 'Occasion Type'
3. Enter 'KNIGHT' in the last name box (you can also use 'HELD', if that's how you roll)
4. Enter 18/04/2009 in the 'Occasion Date' field
5. Press FIND
6. On the results screen, click on the 'Gift Registry' link on the right hand side
7. Read our welcome message, then click on the 'Select a Gift' tab to view the registry.

If you have any problems or questions please feel free to contact Jules or myself. Please also read the welcome note, as it has some information in there that is useful (particularly about IKEA gift vouchers).

- Imogen

P.S. This registry doesn't mean you need to get us a gift, we are more than happy for you just to be there on the day, especially those of you travelling from interstate. :)

ETA: We've heard that some people may be having trouble accessing the registry; we've expanded the instructions to try and remove ambiguity, and if you still have trouble either leave a comment or contact us.

Accommodation Proclamation

So due in part to our jetsetting ways over the past few years, as well as our different hometowns, there'll be a lot of you travelling into Adelaide for this wedding, and you'll need somewhere to sleep. My mum and dad's place is already full up, so here are a bunch of suggested hotels and accommodation options you can check out if you need ideas.

OUTSIDE THE CBD:
These are hotels just outside the CBD (which is where the wedding is) and are thus easy to commute in from.

- Jasper Motor Inn
('plain and comfy', according to my parents)

- Tiffins On The Park

- The Arkaba Hotel
(some friends of ours stayed here and absolutely loved it)

INSIDE THE CBD:
Given that the wedding is taking place inside the CBD, staying inside it should make moving about fairly easy.

Honestly, though, it's much of a muchness. The best bet is to check out Wotif and check out deals and offers in Adelaide's CBD. If Wotif is too confusing, here are several options:

- Hotel Grand Chancellor

- Stamford Plaza Adelaide

- Mercure Grosvenor

- The Sebel Playford

You can also check out this map we made of the CBD, and where each part of the day is taking place.

Let us know if you have any problems or questions.

Happy last day of summer, y'all...

- Jules

Coming Soon!

Hi!

Hopefully the fact you're reading this means you've gotten your invite, and have decided to check out the web address we gave you. This makes us happy, if only because it means the Post Office was nice and actually delivered the invites (apparently A5 envelopes require double postage. Who'da thought it? We certainly didn't.)

So this post is just here as another placeholder, to remind you to check back soon as we add various and sundry bits of information like maps, the gift registry, accommodation suggestions for you out-of-towners, and maybe even insightful (or failing that, short) blog posts about how the wedding preparations and so forth are going. So bookmark this, and check back soon!

Oh, and the sooner you all get your RSVPs in, the easier it is for us. So get back to us!

Don't be afraid to add comments to blog posts, or if you have a blogger/gmail account feel free to follow us.

- Julian

P.S. - as I write this, it's two months precisely until the wedding. How serendipitous!

Post Numero Uno

Just a very exciting test post, just to put words on the page and hairs on my chest. Metaphorically, I think.
